Check Your Missions Before Starting a Run
Turn your next run into a mission clear instead of another scramble through the horde. PokéSurvivor missions give your daily and weekly sessions direction, while completing them also advances long-term achievement goals. Start by checking your current PokéSurvivor missions, then shape your upgrades around the objectives you can tackle together.
The game has daily and weekly missions alongside separate achievements. Keep those systems straight: a recurring task belongs to your mission list, while milestones such as surviving five minutes or evolving your first move belong to achievements.
Your immediate goal is to identify what the current tasks ask you to do. Enemy defeats, move evolution, and reaching a level during a run are examples of objectives that appear in the game.
- Open Missions from the game menu. Review the daily and weekly tasks separately.
- Read each objective carefully. Distinguish a requirement tied to one run from a broader completion target.
- Choose a main objective. Build around the task that needs the most deliberate preparation.
- Look for overlap. Pair combat and leveling objectives when they fit the same run.
- Check the listed reward. Use the mission entry to see what completing that particular task earns.
Use this route to organize your session:
| Stage | Objective | Relevant resources or rewards |
|---|---|---|
| Mission review | Identify daily and weekly requirements | Rewards listed on each task |
| Early combat | Defeat enemies and collect their experience | Experience and occasional ticket drops |
| Build development | Upgrade moves and pursue an evolution | Stronger attacks and evolution progress |
| Optional rift | Defeat a legendary in its arena | A ×10 gacha ticket |
| Menu cleanup | Review completed missions and achievements | Task rewards; achievement tickets and coins |
Before committing to a long session, use an account if you want to keep your progress. Account saves sync through the cloud and let you continue on another device. Guest play does not save your progress.
Before you leave the menu:
- Review both daily and weekly objectives.
- Check unfinished achievements for overlapping goals.
- Select the partner you intend to upgrade and use.

Build Damage and Experience for Combat Objectives
PokéSurvivor missions become harder to finish when your build cannot clear enough space to collect experience. Attacks fire automatically, but you control movement and select the active move. Learning another attack does not make every move fire together.

On PC, move with WASD or the arrow keys. Switch moves with 1–4, Q/E, or their icons. On a phone or tablet, play in landscape, drag to move, and tap the move you want to activate.
For a leveling objective, defeating enemies is only part of the job. Collect the experience they leave behind to fill your level bar and earn upgrade choices.
- Move in wide circles. Pull pursuing enemies into a line while leaving yourself room to turn.
- Upgrade your main attack. Prioritize useful damage, projectile, or cooldown improvements offered for that move.
- Collect experience through cleared openings. Approach a pile after your attacks have reduced the nearby threats.
- Remove support enemies. Target Pokémon that heal or shield the horde.
- Add survival upgrades when needed. Protect the run when incoming damage starts interrupting your route.
Examples of mission objectives include:
| Objective example | What it asks you to accomplish | Preparation |
|---|---|---|
| Defeat 300 Pokémon | Reach the stated enemy defeat target | Upgrade an attack that can keep clearing enemies |
| Reach level 12 in a run | Collect enough experience to reach that level | Maintain access to experience drops |
| Evolve a move | Complete a move’s evolution requirements | Focus upgrades on the move you want to evolve |
These are examples, rather than a fixed daily checklist. Read your active tasks before choosing your target.
Type matchups affect both your damage and the damage enemies deal to you. Super-effective attacks use a ×1.6 multiplier, resisted attacks use ×0.6, and main-series immunities become ×0.3. Dual-type interactions multiply, with the multiplier capped at ×2.4.
Switch attacks when your current type is struggling against the enemies ahead. Check weather too: rain strengthens Water and weakens Fire, while harsh sunlight does the reverse. Avoid forcing a weakened attack through a dense wave when another available move fits the matchup.
Pickups to watch for:
- Experience left behind defeated enemies.
- Tickets that occasionally drop during combat.
- Held items found in chests or by defeating bosses.
Finish Move Evolution Tasks and Prepare for Rifts
For PokéSurvivor missions that require an evolution, concentrate your upgrade choices. Moves evolve at maximum level with the appropriate upgrade; Ember can become Fire Blast, and Bubble can become Surf.
Keep move evolution separate from your Pokémon collection. An objective to evolve a move concerns your attack, while additional playable Pokémon come from starters and the regional gacha.
- Choose the move you want to evolve. Keep its requirements in mind when selecting cards.
- Raise that move to maximum level. Avoid spending every selection on unrelated new attacks.
- Take its required upgrade. Follow the evolution requirement for that specific move.
- Use the evolved move to support the rest of your run. Keep collecting experience through openings cleared by your stronger attack.
- Return to Missions afterward. Check that the relevant objective has registered.
Maintain enough damage to reach your evolution target. Collecting several different moves without developing a dependable attack can leave you struggling to earn the next level.
Held items can help, but you can carry only one at a time. Finding another item means choosing which one to keep, and the equipped item lasts for the run.
| Held item | Effect | Decision to consider |
|---|---|---|
| Lucky Egg | +30% experience | Take it when pursuing a leveling objective |
| Quick Claw | −20% cooldown on all moves | Use it to shorten the gaps between attacks |
| Leftovers | Restores 1.5% of HP per second | Choose it when you need steady recovery |
| Assault Vest | +20% damage reduction | Reduce incoming damage during crowded fights |
| Choice Band | +40% damage; prevents move switching | Keep it only if you can commit to the active move |
| Amulet Coin | +50% PokéCoins at the end of the run | Weigh the extra coins against your survival needs |
Choice Band deserves particular attention. Its damage bonus comes with a restriction that can prevent you from switching to another attack or utility move. Read the effect before replacing your current item.
Rifts are optional legendary encounters that appear on the map. Entering one takes you to an arena associated with the legendary’s type. There are 18 arenas, and their terrain affects movement: lava burns, ice is slippery, and water slows you down.
Enter with a developed attack and enough room in your build to handle the matchup. Step out of filling ground circles and lines before attacks land. Winning earns a ×10 gacha ticket; losing returns you to the map without the rift reward.
Before entering a rift:
- Check your active move and held item.
- Account for the arena’s weather and terrain.
- Preserve your mission attempt instead of rushing an optional fight.
Claim Rewards and Strengthen Your Next Attempt
After the run, make the menu part of your routine. PokéSurvivor missions, achievements, gacha tickets, and permanent upgrades connect your current attempt to the next one.
- Return to Missions. Review which objectives are complete and collect available rewards.
- Open Achievements. Check milestones reached during the same session.
- Review your tickets. Choose a regional gacha pool based on the Pokémon you want to collect.
- Spend coins on your chosen partner. Address the weakness that repeatedly ends your runs.
- Read the remaining tasks again. Adjust the next attempt around what still needs work.
Use each mission’s displayed reward to plan your spending. Achievement rewards include tickets and coins, and each achievement also grants a medal. Some harder achievements unlock a public-profile title.
Permanent upgrades belong to individual partners. Invest in the Pokémon you intend to keep playing instead of expecting one partner’s upgrades to strengthen your entire collection.
If enemies keep catching you, prioritize movement upgrades. If your attacks leave the horde intact, improve damage or cooldown. If you survive the opening but lose health steadily, add defensive or regeneration upgrades.
Gacha tickets are earned through play and cannot be bought with real money. Regular enemies occasionally drop tickets, and winning a legendary rift awards a ×10 ticket. Duplicate Pokémon provide PokéCoins, while duplicate shinies give triple PokéCoins.
Keep shiny hunting separate from urgent mission completion. Wild spawns have a 1-in-4,096 shiny chance, and gacha pulls have a 1-in-100 chance. Defeating a wild shiny adds it to your collection, but chasing one through a packed battlefield can jeopardize your current objective.
Rewards to check before starting again:
- Completed mission rewards.
- Newly unlocked achievement rewards.
- Tickets available for your preferred regional pool.
Work Toward Mission Milestones and Co-op Goals
Repeatedly completing PokéSurvivor missions also advances three mission-count achievements. These give your daily and weekly routine a longer-term target.
| Achievement | Unlock condition | Profile title |
|---|---|---|
| Reliable | Complete 10 missions | — |
| Steady | Complete 50 missions | Steady |
| Tireless | Complete 200 missions | — |
| In good company | Play a group game | — |
| Loyal partner | Play 10 group games | Loyal partner |
Track these alongside your recurring objectives. Finish manageable tasks consistently, then use your stronger partner to attempt objectives that demand more preparation.
Co-op supports up to four players, with shared experience and teammate revives. Add friends by nickname, invite them to your room, and agree on the activity before starting.
- Compare your goals before launching. Let teammates know if you are pursuing a level target or move evolution.
- Coordinate type coverage. Bring attacks that answer different enemy matchups.
- Keep movement organized. Communicate before changing direction or heading toward a rift.
- Clear threats around downed teammates. Revive them by standing nearby.
- Check your own mission progress afterward. Use the mission screen to track completion.
Groups enter rifts together, so discuss the encounter before stepping inside. A teammate pursuing an evolution may still need upgrades, while another may already have a developed attack.
For a focused PokéSurvivor missions session, follow the same loop: review tasks, develop one dependable attack, collect experience safely, claim completed rewards, and upgrade the partner you plan to use again.
